Emmanuel Oke

Dr. Emmanuel Oke is a Senior Lecturer in International Intellectual Property Law at the University of Edinburgh's School of Law. His research examines the intersection of intellectual property law with international trade, investment, and human rights frameworks, emphasizing development implications and global health equity.

• BBNJ Agreement implementation

Recent publications analyze TRIPS Agreement flexibilities during pandemics, trade-mark history in Nigeria, and IP-food chains linkages. Collaborates with the SCRIPT Centre on AI and IP, and BBNJ Agreement implementation projects.
