He conducts research at the Émile Durkheim Center, a joint research unit of the University of Bordeaux and Sciences Po Bordeaux. His work spans health sociology, mental health, drug use, youth vulnerability, homelessness, and digital health.
His research interests focus on the sociology of illness, care practices, and social vulnerability. Key areas include:
- The experience of illness and therapeutic relationships
- Addictions and drug use, including psychotropic medication misuse
- Mental health and its intersection with unemployment and social exclusion
- Youth in vulnerable situations, particularly homeless youth

His work combines sociological theory with empirical studies on public health interventions and social policies.
Notable scientific contributions include publications in journals such as Drug Policies, Revue française des affaires sociales, and Digital Health, as well as book chapters and edited volumes on health and social vulnerability.
