Emmanuel Gendreau is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Sorbonne University. He specializes in agri-food systems, urban ecology, and sustainable development. As co-pilot of the 'Sustainable Worlds' thematic program under the SOUND project, he advocates for transdisciplinary collaboration across sciences, humanities, and social sciences to address global environmental challenges. His career includes roles at Université Jules Verne and Polytech Sorbonne, where he taught molecular biology, bacterial metabolism, and agri-food engineering.

Research & Initiatives: Dr. Gendreau co-created a professional degree in urban landscape management with Montreuil’s Lycée des Métiers and spearheaded sustainability seminars for engineering students.
