Emmanuel GUILLON

Emmanuel GUILLON is a Full Professor at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, affiliated with the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences and the Institute of Molecular Chemistry (ICMR UMR CNRS 7312). He leads the Coordination Chemistry Group (12 faculty/staff) and the Environmental Chemistry team (7 faculty/staff). His research focuses on pollutant transfer mechanisms, environmental remediation, and multi-scale surface phenomena. Key roles include:

• Head of International Relations at Reims Engineer School (since 2006)
• Elected member of URCA's Scientific Council (since 2012)
• French partner in EU FP7 ROUTES project (2011-2014)

Research specialties include metal trace element analysis (ICP-OES, AAS), organic pollutant detection (HPLC, LC-MS/MS), and sorption experiments. Major projects include AQUAL (2007-2013), TrEcoPolEm (2013-2016), and COST ES-13-02. His work bridges molecular-level understanding with macroscopic environmental impacts, emphasizing pollutants like pesticides, drugs, and heavy metals in soils/sediments.
