معرفی
Dr. Emmanuel Epelle is a Chancellor's Fellow at the University of Edinburgh's School of Engineering, developing advanced oxidation technologies for medical device decontamination and wastewater treatment. His research integrates mathematical modeling with laboratory experimentation to address contamination challenges. Additional work explores waste biomass-to-biofuel conversion pathways for sustainable energy.
Research domains include:
- Hybrid oxidation systems for medical and environmental applications
- Computational modeling of decontamination processes
- Sustainable bioenergy production from waste streams
- Hydrogen storage and energy system optimization
Honors include The Herald Higher Education Award (2023), CeeD Industry Innovation Award (2023), and Scottish Knowledge Exchange Innovator of the Future (2023). His patented ozone-based decontamination technology represents the UK's first automated industrial-scale system for apparel sanitation.
Epelle welcomes PhD candidates and collaborators to work on projects involving gas-microdroplet interactions for decontamination and hybrid oxidation methods for complex surfaces.
