معرفی
Emmanuel BAUDIN is a Professor at the École Normale Supérieure - PSL University (ENS-PSL), part of the ENS Physics Laboratory. His research focuses on quantum materials, optoelectronics, and nanoscale phenomena, particularly in graphene and van der Waals heterostructures. He explores hyperbolic polaritons for electronic cooling, terahertz valleytronics in 2D materials, and optoelectronic devices operating at telecom wavelengths. His work bridges condensed matter physics and quantum optics, with contributions in single-electron interferometry, nonlinear optics, and energy transfer mechanisms.
Key research areas include the electroluminescence of graphene field-effect transistors, tunable magnetoplasmons, and the Klein-Schwinger effect in mesoscopic systems. He collaborates on advanced materials like PtSe₂ and hBN-encapsulated devices. His experimental studies address quantum Hall breakdown, terahertz generation in microcavities, and coherence control in polariton fluids.
Publications highlight innovations in optoelectronic samplers, hyperbolic cooling pathways, and near-field radiative energy transfer. His lab investigates next-generation optoelectronic components with applications in sensing, quantum computing, and high-frequency electronics. Research is supported by experimental setups for low-temperature electronics, angle-resolved photoemission, and time-resolved optical spectroscopy.
