Emmanouil Kritikos

Dr. Emmanouil Kritikos is Professor of Operations Research and Information Systems at the Department of Management Science and Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He has also taught at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, University of West Attica, Hellenic Open University, and AUEB’s Erasmus Program.

Education:

• B.Sc. in Mathematics, University of Athens
• M.Sc. in Computer Science and Operations Research, University of Athens
• Ph.D. in Computer Science and Management Science, Athens University of Economics and Business

His research spans combinatorial optimization, mathematical programming models, artificial intelligence, machine learning, algorithm design for operational research problems, and systems performance measurement methodologies, integrating theoretical and applied approaches.

Scientific Awards and Recognitions:

• Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing by ELSEVIER (2017)
• Certificates for reviewing contributions from editors of journals like European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Computers and Operations Research, and Transportation Research Part E

Dr. Kritikos has been an Associate Editor for the Journal of Statistics and Management Systems and a reviewer for over 15 international journals. He has authored a computer science book and edited Greek editions of foundational texts in Linear Algebra, Calculus, and Mathematics for Economists.
