Emma Thompson

Dr. Emma Thompson is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney's School of Life and Environmental Sciences. She transitioned from a marketing career in wildlife conservation to academia, completing a Master's in Environmental Sciences (University of Sydney) and a PhD in Marine Biology (Macquarie University) focusing on molecular impacts of contamination and climate change on Sydney Rock oysters. Her postdoctoral work at Macquarie University included a Senior Research Fellow position on an ITTC grant, collaborating with the Sydney Institute of Marine Science and DPI Fisheries Port Stephens.
