Dr. Emma Tecwyn is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Subject Area Research Lead at York St John University. She completed her PhD at the University of Birmingham (2014) and held postdoctoral positions at Cardiff University, University of Toronto, and University of St Andrews before joining York St John in 2022. Her research focuses on developmental and evolutionary cognition, examining mental simulation, causal reasoning, and social learning mechanisms across children and animals.
