Emma Senior is an Assistant Professor at Northumbria University's Nursing Midwifery and Health Department specializing in Public Health, Sexual Health, and Military Families. Her academic career spans nursing practice, sexual health advising, and educational leadership. She led the Northern Integrated Sexual Health Education (NISHE) program and currently oversees Northumbria's Professional Non-Surgical Aesthetic Practice program. Her PhD (2022) explored military spouses' experiences living with partners facing mental health challenges.
Education includes a PhD from Northumbria (2023), MSc in Academic and Professional Learning (2013), and numerous certifications in Nursing Education and Public Health. She has developed e-learning modules and collaborated on projects with Public Health England and the Royal Marines Charity.
