Emma Harrison

Emma Harrison is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of The Built Environment at Sheffield Hallam University, where she has worked since 2011. She transitioned from a career in the construction industry, completing her BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying part-time at SHU. Her teaching focuses on undergraduate Quantity Surveying programs, apprenticeship provision, and modules covering construction cost, finance, measurement, and procurement. She leads work-based learning for apprentices and emphasizes the role of workplace experience in their development.
