Emma Grindley

Emma Grindley is an Instructor and Internship Coordinator in the Department of Movement Sciences at the University of Idaho. She holds an Ed.D. in Sport and Exercise Psychology from West Virginia University (2005) alongside a M.A. in Community Counseling and a M.S. in Human Performance. Her research focuses on Sport and Exercise Psychology, Rehabilitation Adherence, and Health and Wellness Behavior Change. She has published in journals like Journal of Applied Sport Psychology and Journal of Physical Therapy, exploring topics such as graduate student mentorship and psychological factors in injury rehabilitation.

Dr. Grindley is affiliated with the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences, coordinating internships for Exercise, Sport, and Health Sciences programs. Her work integrates behavioral and psychological principles to enhance health outcomes. She collaborates with the Human Performance Laboratory and WWAMI Medical Education programs at the University of Idaho.
