Emma Baxter is a Reader in Animal Welfare at Scotland's Rural College, specializing in pig welfare systems. Awarded UFAW Young Animal Welfare Scientist 2011, she researches farrowing systems, neonatal survival, and welfare assessment. Baxter leads FREESOW and PigSAFE projects developing alternative farrowing systems.
