Emina Cholich

Emina Cholich is a part-time Lecturer at the School of Psychological Science, University of Western Australia, and a clinical psychologist in private practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from Curtin University and a Master of Applied Psychology (Clinical) from Murdoch University. Her expertise spans Autism, ADHD, and complex mental health, with a focus on neurodiversity-affirming assessment and therapeutic practices.

Research & Practice: Emina specializes in autism diagnostic processes, neurodivergent assessment, and therapeutic support for autistic individuals. Her work emphasizes understanding neurotype, managing burnout, and fostering self-advocacy. She serves as Secretary of the WA Autism Diagnosticians Forum (WAADF) and contributed to the 2018 National Guideline for Autism Diagnosis.

Teaching & Outreach: She coordinates the PSYC5523 unit for the Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis. Her international work includes training educators in Lithuania and Indonesia on supporting neurodivergent children.
