Emily Webb is an Assistant Professor in the Biology Department at Rockford University.
Her research focuses on three primary areas: mechanisms of color production in animals (particularly pigments), the role of digestive physiology in mediating animal-plant relationships, and biology education. She completed her PhD at Arizona State University in Kevin McGraw’s lab, where she investigated carotenoid allocation between life-history traits in birds, including carotenoid-based coloration.
