معرفی
Emily Warner is a Research Fellow at the Nature-based Solutions Initiative, University of Oxford. Her work focuses on ecological and biodiversity outcomes of nature-based solutions, with a particular emphasis on experimental approaches and monitoring frameworks. She contributes to interdisciplinary efforts scaling up NBS projects in the UK, including the Agile Initiative and the Leverhulme Centre for Nature Recovery, which investigate restoration in Oxfordshire and the Scottish Highlands.
Emily’s research interests span nature-based solutions, biodiversity conservation, soil health, carbon sequestration, and long-term ecological monitoring. She explores how interventions like reforestation and afforestation affect ecosystems, integrating above- and below-ground processes. Her publications highlight the importance of mixed-species forests over monocultures for carbon storage and biodiversity.
Her work with the Leverhulme Centre emphasizes developing metrics tools and user guides to assess biodiversity and soil health in restoration projects. Emily’s collaborative projects aim to bridge ecological science with practical conservation strategies.
Emily has no listed awards or advisees but is actively engaged in grants and initiatives focused on UK landscapes. She is part of key teams such as the Agile Initiative and the Leverhulme Centre, which drive large-scale restoration research and policy applications.
