Professor Emily Thomas is a historian of philosophy at Durham University, specializing in metaphysics from the 17th to early 20th centuries, with a focus on time, space, women philosophers, and the philosophy of travel. She is a member of the Institute of Medieval and Early Modern Studies and has held administrative roles, including Head of Durham’s Philosophy Department.
