Emily Schaeffer

Emily Schaeffer is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. She is actively involved in clinical education and training within the Physician Assistant Studies (MS) and Hybrid Program.

Her research and professional interests focus on physician assistant education, clinical preceptorship, and interprofessional training in primary care settings.

Ms. Schaeffer has been recognized for her excellence in teaching and mentorship, receiving the Preceptor of the Year award from the University of Pittsburgh’s Physician Assistant Studies Program.
