Emily Rine Butler is an Instructional Professor and Director of the Dial Center for Written & Oral Communication at the University of Florida's Department of Linguistics (Affiliated Faculty). She specializes in areas such as Conversation Analysis, Intercultural Pragmatics, and Critical Discourse Analysis. Her work bridges sociolinguistic theory with practical applications in education and communication.
