Emily Pace is a Lecturer in the Department of French at the University of Tennessee, where she teaches Beginning and Intermediate French classes. A native North Carolinian, she joined the University of Tennessee in 2006, earning her M.A. (2009) and Ph.D. (2013) in French. Her academic journey includes research in Paris (2010, 2012) and Lille (2010), focusing on nineteenth-century French literature, translation theory, and intersections between architecture and fiction. She also served as a Student Advisor and Activities Director in the College of Architecture and Design during her Master’s studies.
