Emily Mendenhall is a Professor of Medical Anthropology at Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. She is affiliated with the Department of Anthropology and Department of Global Health, focusing on syndemics, chronic illness, and health equity across global contexts. Her research spans diabetes, HIV, mental health, and Long COVID, emphasizing structural inequalities and cultural narratives.
