Emily Maddox Liggett is a Lecturer in Management at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB), where she teaches courses on corporate governance principles and practices. She holds an MBA and MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford (1984) and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University (1977). With over 20 years of corporate board experience, she has served as board chair and committee member across public, private, and non-profit organizations, emphasizing ethical governance and stakeholder value.
