Emily MacLeod is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at Cape Breton University. She combines her clinical expertise with academic leadership to advance nursing practice, education, and research.

- Former Teaching Assistant at Dalhousie University’s School of Nursing
- Certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and emergency nursing specialist
Her research focuses on critical areas such as sexual violence, health service accessibility, and health promotion, reflecting her commitment to addressing social determinants of health through clinical and academic work.
