Dr. Emily M. Klein is a University Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Earth & Climate Sciences at Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment. Her research focuses on the geochemistry of oceanic basalts, using major, trace, and isotopic analyses to understand mantle and crustal processes.
