Emily Joachim, MD is an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), specializing in Nephrology with a focus on kidney transplantation. She is affiliated with the Froedtert Hospital Transplant Center and the Kidney Transplant Outreach Clinic in Pleasant Prairie. Her clinical expertise includes managing kidney transplant recipients, pancreatic transplant recipients, and patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and electrolyte imbalances. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
Dr. Joachim completed her medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (2013), followed by residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics (2013–2017). She further specialized with fellowships in Nephrology (2017–2019) and Transplant Nephrology (2019–2020), both at UW.
