Emily Hansell is a Postgraduate University Teacher in Exercise Physiology: Strength & Conditioning at Loughborough University. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science (First Class) and an MSc in Strength & Conditioning (Distinction). Her research affiliations include the Sport Performance and Lifestyle for Health and Wellbeing groups. She has professional experience at Southampton FC’s Sports Medicine and Science department and has contributed to sports science support for Loughborough Sport clubs like dance and women’s football. Emily has also held management roles at Loughborough Students’ Union, earning the Sir David Wallace Award for her contributions to the 'Loughborough Experience'.
Her academic achievements include receiving the Santander Postgraduate Scholarship and programmatic academic recognition during her MSc. Research interests span applied sport science, athlete performance optimization, and health-focused lifestyle interventions.
