Emily Goebelt

Emily Goebelt is a Lecturer of Spanish at Clemson University's Department of Languages within the College of Arts and Humanities. She holds a Master of Arts in Spanish and dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, alongside an Associate of Arts from Central Piedmont Community College. Her teaching focuses on Elementary and Intermediate Spanish courses.

Her educational journey emphasizes support for non-traditional students, stemming from her own background as a community college transfer student. Emily's passion for education was solidified through her role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (2020) and her subsequent position as an MA Fellow at UNC Charlotte. She presented at the 2021 Southeastern Association of Cultural Studies Conference (SEACS).

Emily prioritizes student well-being and individualized learning, aiming to impact students across disciplines. She values mentorship and is dedicated to advancing her educational career at Clemson.
