Dr Emily Glorney is a Professor of Forensic Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London, and Director of Postgraduate Research in the School of Law and Social Sciences. Her research focuses on reducing offending behavior, victimization prevention, and systemic interventions across criminal justice and related systems. She has collaborated with Surrey Police, Surrey County Council, and international organizations to address issues like school exclusion, traumatic brain injury in prisons, and elder abuse. Her work has led to policy changes and earned her the 2022 High Sheriff of Surrey Award for community service. She teaches on undergraduate and postgraduate programs in forensic psychology and criminology, supervising students at all levels.
