Emily Feinberg is a Professor in the Department of Health Services, Policy and Practice at Brown University and a faculty member at the Hassenfeld Child Innovation Institute. She holds adjunct appointments at Boston University School of Public Health and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Her clinical background includes pediatric nurse practitioner work at Dothouse Health in Boston. She directs the New Emerging Initiative for TEAM UP for Children Scaling and Innovation Center, advancing pediatric integrated behavioral care across 7 Massachusetts community health centers.
Education: ScD and MSc from Harvard School of Public Health, MSN in Parent-Child Nursing (Simmons College).
Research focuses on redesigning community-based child health systems, addressing maternal depression, autism services, and pediatric mental health integration. Innovates models using lay health workers to ensure equitable behavioral health service delivery. Funded by NIH institutes (NIMH, NINR), CDC, RWJF, and HRSA.
Longstanding mentorship record with over 20 doctoral/postdoctoral mentees. Active in translational research bridging clinical practice and population health.
