Emily Chun

Emily Chun is a Lecturer in the Department of Art History at Stanford University, focusing on modern and contemporary American art of the 1980s and 1990s. Her research explores connections between artistic practices and broader cultural and socioeconomic shifts during this period.

Research Interests: Emily’s work centers on Aesthetics, American Art, Contemporary Art, and Modern Art. She analyzes how art reflects and interacts with societal transformations, particularly in the U.S. during the late 20th century.
