Emilio García Sánchez

Emilio García Sánchez is an Associate Professor at the Cardenal Herrera CEU University (School of Health Sciences), where he leads the Bioethics Research Group. He holds a PhD in Moral Theology and a Master's in Bioethics from the University of Navarra, building on his Biology degree from the University of Murcia (1996). As 2nd Vice President of the Spanish Association of Medical Ethics and Bioethics (AEBI) and member of the Valencian Society of Bioethics, he focuses on ethical vulnerabilities, particularly in aesthetic medicine and end-of-life care. His research spans human dignity, cosmetic vulnerability, and ethical education, with notable publications like The Tyranny of Perfection (2013) and Infinites Wounded (2021). He has received the Angel Herrera Award for Best Research Work (2017, 2023).
