Emile Marc Moacdieh serves as a Senior Lecturer within the International Initiatives unit of the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta, where he specializes in secondary school science education curriculum and pedagogy.
His research and teaching interests focus on science education, curriculum development, and evidence-based teaching methodologies for secondary science educators. His courses integrate theoretical frameworks with practical classroom strategies through immersive experiences and collaborative discussions to develop pre-service teachers' competencies in science instruction.
Mr. Moacdieh provides course-based mentorship to students through EDSE 355 and EDSE 356, guiding them in curriculum implementation and teaching practice development for both major and minor science education pathways.
