معرفی
Emil Korsgaard is a PhD Fellow at the Department of Health Science and Technology, Faculty of Medicine, Aalborg University. His research is conducted within the CardioTech group, focusing on innovative approaches to cardiovascular diagnostics and monitoring.
His primary research interests include cardiovascular engineering, biomedical signal processing, medical imaging, and non-invasive diagnostic techniques. His work particularly emphasizes thermal infrared imaging for vasomotion analysis, seismocardiography for cardiovascular assessment, and accelerometer-based respiratory monitoring systems.
His recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on developing and validating novel diagnostic methods for cardiovascular conditions, including pulmonary hypertension, preload changes, and respiratory rate estimation. These studies often employ advanced signal processing techniques and comparative approaches with established diagnostic modalities.
Dr. Korsgaard collaborates extensively with researchers at Aalborg University and other institutions, frequently working alongside Professor Samuel Emil Schmidt and other members of the CardioTech research group. His work contributes to the development of point-of-care diagnostic technologies that could improve cardiovascular healthcare delivery.
