Emel Yantır

Dr. Emel Yantır is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Turkey. Her academic career spans roles as Lecturer PhD (2021-2023) and Head of Department (2019-2024). She serves on scientific committees for Turkish Immunology Association and HİTİT (Turkish Society for Immunology, Transplantation and Cancer Research).

She has explored the role of AT1R antibodies in organ rejection and HLA-B*27 in autoimmune disorders.

Recent publications highlight her work on HLA typing (2024) and transplant immunology (2022-2023). Conference presentations include novel findings on SARS-CoV-2 vaccine-associated thyroiditis and cytokine genetics in kidney transplantation.

She has authored book chapters on HLA Genetics (2022) and Inflammatory Cytokines in Rheumatic Diseases (2020), and serves as a peer reviewer for journals like Turkish Journal of Immunology and Turkish Journal of Biology.
