Emanuele Lucchini Guastalla is a Full Professor of Private Law at Bocconi University, where he previously served as Director of the Integrated Master of Arts in Law (2006–2013). He holds roles including President of the Turin Panel of Arbitro Bancario Finanziario (appointed by the Bank of Italy) and Board Member of Morgan Stanley SGR S.p.A. He graduated from the University of Milan in 1989 with summa cum laude honors.
His research focuses on Contract Law, Tort Law, Inheritance Law, Family Law, Arbitration, and Insurance Law. Notable awards include the ESADE Alumni Law Club’s Aptíssimi Award (2017) and Bocconi University’s Excellence Research Award (2012). He has consistently received teaching awards from Bocconi (2007–present).
Major projects include directing the 2008 MIUR Project on non-legislative contract sources and participating in NEWFIN’s insurance network research (1995). His teaching spans core civil law modules, financial law, and insurance law. Current roles include legal arbitration and corporate governance.
