Emanuele Dotto is an Associate Professor in the Mathematics Institute at the University of Warwick, specializing in algebraic topology with focus on Hermitian K-theory, topological Hochschild homology, and equivariant homotopy theory.
His research bridges algebraic structures and homotopical methods, particularly through the development of Poincaré categories and real topological Hochschild homology theories. Current projects investigate connections between Witt vectors, cyclic homology, and K-theoretic invariants.
He leads seminars on advanced topics including cyclotomic spectra, Franke's algebraicity conjecture, and Adams spectral sequences. Recent editorial responsibilities include the Journal and Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society.
