Emanuela Delbufalo is a Full Professor of Operations & Supply Chain Management at the European University of Rome (Universita Europea di Roma). She serves as Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business Management and has been Vice-Coordinator of the university's Departmental Research Centre since 2016. Additionally, she holds a Permanent Visiting Research Fellow position at the Supply Chain Management Research Centre of Cranfield School of Management (Cranfield University, UK) since 2015.
Research Interests focus on Supply Chain Management, particularly examining trust-based governance mechanisms, risk analysis in international supply chains, and logistics/procurement outsourcing in fashion and healthcare sectors. She also explores theoretical applications of Agency Theory to supply chain vertical relationships.
Recent Publications highlight cross-disciplinary trends in supply chain governance, risk mitigation, and sector-specific logistics challenges, with a strong emphasis on empirical studies in the fashion industry and theoretical frameworks for trust-risk dynamics.
International Engagement includes ongoing research collaborations with Cranfield University and empirical work on global supply chains in Italian manufacturing firms.
