Her research lies at the intersection of language, cognition, and communication, with a strong focus on pragmatics and multimodality. She investigates how meaning is constructed through verbal and nonverbal cues in interaction, using both theoretical and experimental approaches. Her work extends into semiotics, particularly the interpretation of multimodal texts such as advertising, film, and digital media.
Her publications include a monograph on gesture and articles in journals like Journal of Pragmatics and Philosophical Psychology. The themes across her work reveal a consistent engagement with how language functions in social and cognitive contexts, especially in stance-taking, politeness, and identity construction.
Her scientific honors include a prestigious Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship (2012) and the National Scientific Abilitation (ASN) for Associate Professor in Aesthetics and Philosophy of Language (2020–2029).
