Elīna Graudiņa serves as an Acting Lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Riga Stradins University. Her expertise centers on political philosophy, ethics, and civil society dynamics with a specialized focus on Latvian political contexts and youth engagement.
Graudiņa's research explores classical political thought (Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau) and contemporary challenges to democratic systems. She investigates the philosophical foundations of civil society, Western value systems under geopolitical pressure, and actionable models for revitalizing youth political participation in Latvia through empirical analysis of elections and civic behavior.
Her 2022-2024 publications reveal a concentrated effort on Latvian youth civic engagement and the reinterpretation of social contract theory for modern democratic challenges. Key works analyze Ukraine war impacts on Western values and develop frameworks for reconnecting disengaged youth with political processes.
