Dr Eloise Florence is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Culture and Society, Western Sydney University, working on the ARC Linkage Project 'Curating Museum Collections for Mitigating Climate Change.' Her research focuses on intersections between memory, materiality, and cultural heritage, particularly in post-conflict spaces and environmental humanities contexts. She holds a PhD in Communications (2021, RMIT University).
Her interdisciplinary work spans cultural studies, political economy, and environmental humanities, with recent publications exploring entangled remembering in urban ruins, geologic futurities, and childhood in the Anthropocene. She is currently completing a book analyzing material traces of geopolitical violence as cultural memory archives.
