Eloise Biggs is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of Western Australia (UWA), School of Agriculture and Environment. She holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Southampton and previously served as a Lecturer in Geography at UWA and a Lecturer in Environmental GIS at the University of Southampton. Her research focuses on spatial analysis of environmental data, water resources, and climate change impacts. She has supervised PhD students across topics including bee industry modeling, disaster resilience, and urban heat mitigation.
Research Interests: Ellie’s work centers on spatial-temporal analysis of environmental data, water vulnerability, climate-smart landscapes, and sustainable livelihoods. Recent projects include climate adaptation in Pacific Island agriculture, flood resilience in Tanzania, and GIS applications for environmental security. She has secured grants totaling over AU$1.6 million for projects like climate-smart landscapes in the South Pacific and post-disaster recovery in Cambodia/Fiji.
