Elmar Tischhauser

Professor Elmar Tischhauser is a faculty member at Philipps University of Marburg in the IT-Security research group within the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. His work focuses on symmetric cryptography, cryptanalysis, and cryptographic algorithms for high-performance and lightweight platforms.

Research Interests: Dr. Tischhauser's research emphasizes symmetric encryption and authentication, hashing, applied cryptography, and security/privacy in e-Health and cloud infrastructures. His team investigates hash functions, block ciphers, and authenticated encryption schemes.

Recent Publications include work on MILP modeling of Boolean functions, authenticated encryption modes, and cryptanalysis of lightweight algorithms. His articles address both theoretical and practical aspects of cryptographic security mechanisms.
