Ellis Adjei Adams is an Associate Professor of Geography and Environmental Policy at the University of Notre Dame's Keough School of Global Affairs. He is affiliated with the Environmental Change Initiative and the Eck Institute for Global Health. Adams holds a PhD from Michigan State University and has prior teaching experience at Georgia State University. His research focuses on urban water insecurity, water governance, and gender in development contexts, with fieldwork primarily in sub-Saharan Africa. He leads a National Science Foundation-funded project on Atlanta's water infrastructure and consults for the World Bank on a WASH and Health Index for Africa.
