Ellie Abrons is an Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Michigan's Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, and serves as Director of the Digital Studies Institute. Her work explores intersections between materiality, technology, design, and construction, with recent focuses on housing equity and urban technology.

Her research examines:
- Material reuse strategies in architectural practice
- Impact of digital technologies on architectural culture

Recent projects analyze digital-physical integration in urban housing systems, with NSF-funded work on Detroit home rehabilitation. T+E+A+M's work has been exhibited at major international venues including the Venice Biennale and Chicago Architecture Biennial.
