Ellen De Bruyne

Ellen De Bruyne is a researcher and project coordinator at the Research Center for Lifelong Learning and Development (OLLI) at AP University College since 2019. She holds a Master's degree in Pedagogical Sciences (University of Ghent, 2011) and was involved in the LEMMA PhD project on academic reading in multilingual contexts. Her expertise spans reading comprehension, online learning, eye tracking, academic reading, and soft skills development in higher education. Methodologically, she focuses on practice-oriented research, experimental studies, and educational design.

• FlexistAP (Flexibilisation in Higher Education)
• TPG (Admission Test for Graduate Programs)

She coordinates initiatives like feedback dashboards for central exams and soft skills development through learning analytics. Ellen previously worked at Ghent University, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and Zorgbedrijf Antwerpen in roles such as research assistant and team coach.
