Ella Wilson

Ella Wilson is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, affiliated with Keck Medicine of USC. She specializes in acute and post-acute rehabilitation for patients with advanced pulmonary disease undergoing lung transplantation, and individuals with Post-COVID Syndrome ('Long COVID'). Her clinical practice integrates Lifestyle Redesign® and physical rehabilitation modalities, delivered both online and in-person.

Her research interests focus on interdisciplinary care models for high-complexity patient populations, including knowledge mobilization through national occupational therapy education and patient material development. She has presented at state and national conferences on OT’s role in lung transplant and post-COVID recovery, and contributed to the American Occupational Therapy Association’s specialty conferences.

Wilson is a key member of the Keck Medical Center’s Covid Recovery Clinic and serves as a primary care OT consultant. She trains future clinicians through her academic role and actively participates in the acute rehabilitation unit and outpatient clinics at Keck Medicine.
