Ella-Gabriel Mason (they/them) is a part-time Lecturer in Dance at Swarthmore College. As a multidisciplinary artist, their work integrates dance, choreography, video, text, and installation, exploring themes of embodiment, community, reinvention, gender, animality, Jewish Diasporism, sexuality, trauma, and collectivity.
Their research has been presented at conferences including the National Dance Education Organization, Pennsylvania Dance Education Organization, Collegium for African Diasporic Dance, and Dance/USA. Mason also contributed a chapter to the Bloomsbury anthology Sex On Stage: Performing the Body Politic.
