Ella Carton

Ella Carton is a PhD candidate and Research Assistant at the School of Allied Health, University of Western Australia. She is affiliated with the Telethon Kids Institute and collaborates with multiple universities. Her research focuses on trauma-informed practices in schools, specifically how pre-service and early career teachers support trauma-impacted children.

Research Interests: Ella explores teacher education programs' impact on trauma-informed responses in schools. She emphasizes improving support systems for vulnerable children and enhancing educator preparedness through conceptual frameworks in educational psychology.

Current Projects: Assisting on the Thoughtful Schools Program, investigating trauma-informed interventions in primary education settings.
