Ella Benson is a Professor of Education and Dean of Accessibility Services at Chowan University. She coordinates the Master of Arts in Teaching program and teaches courses in Special Education, Leadership, and Research.
- Education: EdD in Educational Leadership and Policy from University of Virginia, MSEd in Special Education from Old Dominion University, BA in Psychology from Norfolk State University, AS in General Studies from Tidewater Community College
Her research focuses on special education leadership, accessibility services in higher education, and policy development. She emphasizes student support through nurturing environments and high academic standards.
