Elke Nevoigt

Prof. Dr. Elke Nevoigt is a Full Professor of Molecular Biotechnology at the School of Science, Constructor University Bremen, Germany, since 2022. Her research focuses on metabolic and synthetic engineering of Saccharomyces cerevisiae for improved utilization of renewable carbon sources like glycerol, with applications in industrial biotechnology and fermentation processes. She leads projects on CO₂ fixation, succinic acid production, and pectin-rich residue valorization.
